Hi! My name is Mikita.
I make lamps and decor from wood and stone. I take a huge piece of timber and start removing the excess, layer by layer, until the form that was already inside emerges.
Philosophy
Wood is the only material that remembers. Every ring in a cross-section is a year — a dry summer, a cold winter, a season of slow growth. When you hold a wooden object, you are holding time.
